Day 2 of lock down 2 (day 226 since the start of the 1st lock down)
Oh dear. My poor ring is a mess and actually very uncomfortable to wear. I am shoving white blue-tac into the place where the sapphire used to be to try and stop it catching but I lost my blue-tac sapphire three times today!
After discovering John and Mick from Apollo Garage will be retiring next week, I baked what will be the last Victoria sponge for them to have with their afternoon tea. I had to write to the golf club as next years President will not be around on the date to see if it can be changed to the following Friday 2nd of July - fingers crossed that it can. Colin came up with an idea about my ring - he found Lawrence the jewellers email address and I have sent an email to see if there is any way we can meet and for him to cut it off - watch this space.
