6th December 2020

Day 263 since the start of the 1st lock down.

It’s Sunday so it’s James’s football again which Colin always goes to watch, despite my reservations of him being with a lot of numpty parents! At least it gave me an opportunity to carry on working on his two books of the last big trip we made that I have not made a book of. It took me ages as I had not actually prepped a number of the later images so not only did I have to edit down the images I wanted to use, I also had to prep them and find out the relevant meta-data. I did pretty well with no breaks and a late lunch.

Later in the afternoon when Colin had got home I decorated our Christmas tree with all our decorations from around the world and the new one I had given to Colin of a Cuckoo clock as a clue to his Swiss holiday next June. It takes a very long time but it is worth it as it is uplifting to see old friends again. I also put up the swag along the staircase and attached two sets of lights and finally the blue lights around the front door. Afterwards for some fresh air I delivered some Christmas cards locally as well.

It is looking very festive and just the large baubles to go up above the mirror in the hall and in the living room tomorrow. To celebrate we traded ourselves to a Chinese meal from the local take away.
