17th December 2020

Day 274 since the start of the 1st lock down.

My right knee is really hurting since whatever I did to it on Tuesday but we still headed out as it was a nice day to Bushy Park. My time was pretty rubbish but I did manage a bit of a jog.

It was straight home for breakfast and a shower and then over to Raynes Park in the car to deliver presents to my friend Sarah, Patrick and her daughters Izzy and Lillie. With Tier 3 we could only catch up outside and no hugs but lovely to catch up and her dogs Ollie and Ted were very pleased to see and escaped from the house and Patricks grip to say hello!

Once home, I picked up Colin and we headed to the madness of Lidl to look for the salmon I want to take to Mum’s for the Christmas Eve meal. No decent salon but somehow I filled the trolley with other things instead and finally did pick up the salmon in Tescos on the way home.

Finals of Masterchef this evening I think it has been one of the best series so far and all finalists did really well (no spoilers here!).

66,052 PHE dead in the UK (532 deaths in the last 24 hours). These are awful figures, going up everyday and by a thousand each couple of days. It was a long time ago that we were told 20,000 deaths would be a best case scenario!
