This is a new year, new beginning but… it isn’t any different from yesterday. News is that the Oxford vaccine has been approved and should start to be administered from next Monday 4th of January.
The other news is that we have finally officially left Europe and are now on our own. I am mortified and cannot quite believable we are now here. I have printed out the EU flag to laminate and post on our windows.
On a brighter note I opened all my presents from Mum and I am really pleased with socks, shower gel, sweets and some beautiful earrings. I’ve done very well this year for presents, especially as it has been so difficult for everyone to get out and buy them.
In line with my mood it was grey and wet today so we did not go out at all. To inspire my photographs at the start of this ninth year of my 365 project, I created a montage of my favourite images from 2020. I also cooked a roast gammon joint with parsley sauce made from scratch to see in this new year.
