11th May 2021

1 year, 46 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

Out first thing for a painful trot around Bushy Park - my joints and feet are still hurting and I have no idea why. It was nice to be out in the sun though.

On return I finished Niamh’s photos after the delay yesterday caused by the Minke whale arrival at Teddington Lock. A stroppy email from Waterlines, the most ‘challenging’ outlet to deal with that stocks my greeting cards - I dealt with it but it remains to be seen if I get a reply.

Colin finally got to see the dentist in the afternoon who has made a determined effort to replace Colin’s front tooth with a temporary tooth stuck in very firmly. He has another appointment next Tuesday with a plan of how to deal with it in the long term. Just hoping everything stays in place for the next week and a half so we an go and see Mum down in Cornwall for the first tine in 10 months since last July.

To cheer Colin up and and taking into account soft food, I knocked up a Victoria sponge cake to cheer him up!
