23rd May 2021

1 year, 58 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

Oh dear, after the sun and ice cream of yesterday, the rain returned with a vengeance today.

Ian managed to cut his finger very badly on his word turning kit and I had thought that he might need to go to the hospital for a few stitches but with Mum and my excellent nursing skills and dodgy dressing he managed to avoid this. It looked pretty nasty though.

Apart from a brief trip to Lidl we stayed in for the rest of the day which was not a problem as it is just so nice to catch up with Mum and be somewhere else other than Teddington!

Today’s photo was a bit of an afterthought but is of the lovely local flowers Mum had picked for our room.
