8th August 2021

1 year, 135 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

Strangely yesterdays tinnitus that I have never had before in my life has gone today - good.

My important task of the day was meeting with the House Manager at Fulwell to discuss our awards dinner next Friday. It seemed to go well and all my questions were answered It does not help that the manager is actually going on paternity leave today and the person covering his work is… his Mum!

I attempted to deliver a USB of images to the printmaker that i had photographed back in June at the Landmark Centre. I drove there on my way back and it was one of those annoying addresses with no letterbox as it was a flat. I tried both he buzzer and the Tradesman buzzer to no avail!

I had lunch on my return as a treat for a good meeting and in the afternoon I worked flat out. First making up all the table decorations for next Friday and all the associated labelling and then I moved onto the remains of the Christmas cards. I had planned to work my way through half the pile but in the event as I was doing so well I kept going and finished the lot! I have put everything away and managed to drag the large box of flat stock up to the top bedroom by sliding it up step at a time.

I have really achieved today.
