1 year, 146 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
My toe was really painful today but I ‘manned’ up as I had booked Colin, myself and Sarah tickets to Lara Maiklem’s talk at Southwark Cathedral. We met Sarah under the clock at Waterloo and braved the Jubilee Line to London Bridge with masks.
We managed to have a soft drink outside before we went in. Everyone wore masks and it was really nice being inside with other people in such a beautiful building. I had also ordered Lara’s new book which came signed and I decided to buy another copy for Mum - hope she’s not reading this!
Great to see Sarah albeit briefly and lovely to be out at an event as well.
