28th August 2021

1 year, 154 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

A surprise visit over coffee from Robert - our photo club treasurer - who was bringing me a cheque in reimbursement for the awards dinner I paid for.

After lunch Mum, Ian and I walked up to Hampton Hill as I wanted to have a chat with a framers based there who comes highly recommended. I spoke with the owner Leigh (I twigged as the place is called Leigh’s Gallery and Framers!). He seems very good and came up with a good price for double mounting and framing the two Twickenham prints.

We walked on into Hampton and then back through Bushy Park. At one stage it looked like it was going to rain but it held off despite ominous clouds. We stopped for refreshments in Bushy Park and a delicious ice cream.

Mum treated us to a Chinese take away from our favourite local China Garden in the evening - I think she enjoyed a bit of spiced food for once!
