1 year, 186 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.
Today I prepared for my photo club in the evening as I have got to ‘sell’ the concept of a Christmas function at Fulwell instead of at St Luke’s. It was nice to see friends again and the evening was a competition evening of print - our first one for over one and a half years.
I stood up at the end and sold the idea and was pleased that we had a majority of people that support the idea… I wonder how many will actually buy tickets. I also took photos of members who had finally got their cups which they and some time ago.
On my way home in the car I had hoped to be able to get some fuel. It looked like the Shell garage had fuel as people were at the pumps. I did a quick U-turn and drove back to going the queue with just a few cars in front of me. However, as I got closer after a few minutes, the cars in front started turning in the road and as I pulled up I saw that the garage had closed as the fuel had run out. This is getting very serious now despite the fact that the PM is in denial of the problem.
