2 years and 58 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
A doing day today - we headed into Kingston by bus as the weather forecast was for rain showers and lucky we did. Colin had a voucher for a free breakfast roll which we were loathe to miss out on and I had a cake instead as for some reason I did not have that voucher! I decided to take some of the clothes cack that I had bought the other day as I realised I could use my John Lewis vouchers instead of cash so that felt good and I picked up the ones I had ordered. As predicted the storm came and when we finally got back to Teddington, we had to shelter at the bus stop as it was literally thumping down. There was quite a gang of us crammed in trying to avoid getting wet.
During a dry spell I dropped off a letter for the Doctor with a few queries following a phone call the other day.
