30th August 2022

2 years and 155 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

Colin was out early this morning as he caught the train over to Mortlake and he had an opticians check up. I normally go with him but I was not that happy with the last glasses I got which are supposed to be for both computer work and reading but are not particularity effective for either and that was after the lenses had been changed once! I need to have a think of what I want to do in the future.

In the afternoon I headed over to Steph’s for a hard cut, then to Sainsbury’s for fuel for our journey to Portsmouth and Spain and finished u pin Squires to stock up on snacks for Pingado when he goes on his holidays to stay with Megan in St Margarets.

It slightly overcast during the day but the light was amazing in the early evening and it looked like a storm was approaching but it never materialised. Pingado was cleaned out late in the evening much to hi disgust although he really needed it before he goes away.
Great light.
