24th January 2023

This morning I continued the task of collecting in unsold Christmas cards to enable em to undertake my stock take next week. Whilst Colin went to the gym I heard oner to Orleans House Gallery to collect cards. This is the first days for well over a week when I have not had to scrape the car of frost as the temperature was above freezing by just a few degrees.

After a slightly hairy journey back up Orleans Road - a very, very narrow cobbled road with few passing places and at least four vehicles coming the other way… I drove back circumnavigating the road closures to the Landmark Centre. There were not many cards to collect which is good but for some reason the woman who runs the shop seems incapable of getting the figures to balance and is asking me to invoice for far less cards than I have actually sold. We exchanged many emails but no resolution yet.

After scanning in delivery notes from before Christmas and more work emails, I finally managed to write up notes from my Zoom meeting last week. It was rather a frustrating day with a lot of emails but it didn’t feel like much progress!

Beautiful structure.
