I had to go to Kingston hospital for a 10.25 appointment this morning to be fitted with a 24-hour blood pressure monitor. I was not looking forward to it and the student nurse attaching everything was not that knowledgeable and didn’t really answer my questions which did not fill me with confidence! It also doesn’t help that I seem to have been given a large cuff designed for weightlifting men rather than a middle aged woman.
Colin had a lunch date up in town with friends but as he was early we went back to Kingston and enjoyed a good coffee in Coin de Paris - it has been there for twenty three years (we asked) and has been consistently good.
I went to Waitrose afterwards but it is difficult doing anything with this massive cuff on my arm and it’s really painful when it inflates. I’m feeling sorry for myself today!
