16th February 2023

What an awful night - the blood pressure gadget kept inflating every hour and so I basically snoozed between sessions as my arm was painfully squeezed. I could finally remove it at 8.20am and it was such a relief.

I headed back to the hospital to drop it off and also to discover as I suspected - I seemed to have been given a cuff designed for a large weightlifting man as other people dropping off their gadgets had one half the size of me. I hope this will not affect the readings as I do not want to have to wear one again if I can help it.

I took the afternoon easy although I had a lot fo emails connected to my photo club and the exhibition to send out. I collected some prints that I had promised a member of the Club I would deliver for her this evening. She is very poorly and undergoing cancer treatment but is still making the effort to submit prints and they looked really good. I think it is a much needed distraction from her intensive treatment.

Photo club this evening and it was Andy Sands who owed the Chiswick camera shop. I’ve seen him before and he is a very good speaker with some amazing macro images of fungi and insects. It was difficult to keep my eyes open though after my lack of sleep last night.

Whisky (next doors cat) popped around for snacks again. I think he has adopted us as his second parents!!
Sweetie.
