This morning I was in DIY mode so I finished off the job of repairing the sink laminate which I had fitted yesterday by sealing it off with silicon. I was a bit nervous but I used blue masking tape and it didn’t take as long as I thought - I took off the tape afterwards and I’m pretty pleased with the results ad it looks considerable better than it did. It also makes the whole area watertight which is as not for the last few years!
Next I sorted out the entire of my wardrobe, to try and establish the source of a lot of clothes moths in the bedroom and the rest of the house. We had wondered if they were ‘nesting’ in the wardrobe but after well over an hour I had a much tidier organised wardrobe, three bags of clothes to go the charity shop but no sign of where the moths are coming from which is a bit worrying.
Photo club night tonight and for the second week running I was on lock up duty. The lecturer was pretty good although I think he was training to be a stand up comedian and some of his jokes were rather un PC. Still a good night although it was raining on my way there and back and still chilly - definitely not very summery considering we are approaching the longest day of the year.
