I was up early to feed Whisky as we are looking after him for the next few days before we go away. I had to walk over to Ham to deliver greeting cards to the books shop who first ordered cards back in 2024. Luckily I took my new umbrella - slightly less than 24 hours old which got a thorough test as I was caught in a cloudburst just as I was leaving the bookshop.
The full moon last night (and eclipse which I missed) caused a very low tide at the lock as I walked back to Teddington. Last task of the day was me booking the accommodation I had shortlisted in Milan for Colins birthday. It’s the best I had found, central, with a lift (and dishwasher!) And within walking distance of most sites and close to the Metro. Flights to be booked next week so they are on the next credit card bill!!
