26th April 2013

A trip up town today to the British Museum to see the exhibition of Ice Age art with my Mum.

I knew the viewpoint I wanted to take but there were a lot of other visitors so unfortunately the image is not quite as 'clean' as I wanted. This is an amazing space and with a bit of sunlight it becomes even more interesting with all those shadows.
You do need to see all these people to get an idea of the size of this most interesting building. Nice POV!

The shot has surreal feeling to it. Almost feel like it`s an architect`s model, so perfect. Good one

@maggiemae @sparkle @helixconcepts Thank you all for the kind comments. I was fiddling with the WB as the original was blue tinged (as light was through glass). This now has a slight yellow tinge but actually it was pretty much like this as I think the stone is sandstone and has a yellowish tinge. Having looked again you are right - people add a sense of dimension and actually they almost look like they could join the 'little people' photos I've been following on 365!!

I agree with Laura. It doesn't look real. It looks like a model. I love all those criss cross shadows.
