OK so this is not the best macro shot ever!

I should have used a faster shutter speed than 1/500 but as I was chasing a number of bumble bees around our brambles, they kept going in and out of the shade. I still like it as it is caught in mid flight before landing on a bramble flower - his eyes are sharp! (Best viewed large)

I quit like the way the wings are showing motion blur. The eyes are really clear and the shallow dof give a lovely softness to the photograph.

I think it is a great macro! I love the front view...hard to get. I usually get side view or back view. cute bee too! Fav for me! Saw t his on the "favorite ofyour project" thread.
