2nd September 2013

Another busy day but quite productive with a delivery of more greeting cards to my Twickenham outlet.

I photographed Church Street last time I was delivering cards there in a downpour ( http://365project.org/emmadurnford/365/2013-08-05) but today it was beautiful and these hanging baskets were glowing with colour outside of the popular Eel Pie pub.
Good for you selling cards! You had them printed? This is a lovely scene! I don't like the sound of eel pie, though!

I've got a range professionally printed that I sell in quite a few outlets locally, only thing is I have to fold and put them in cellos with envelopes myself as it costs more to have that done so it can be quite a production line!

The Eel Pie is named after the nearby island in the Thames which was renown for being a centre of music in the 1960s - Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart all played here at the start of their careers. Here's some of my greeting cards - http://www.emmadurnfordphotography.com/gallery_429122.html

What a riot of color! The buildings and the flowers all competing for the "look at me" Love how the flowers are supporting the color scheme. Beautiful
