Today we sailed from Gananoque and visited some of the 1,000 Islands at the point where the Ontario and the United States meet midway across the St Lawrence and Ontario lake. It was a great boat trip that included sonar images of shipwrecks along the way.

This is just one of the many islands - and there are in fact over 1,800 - which just struck me as quite amusing as it is so small but has a lovely house and boat house built on it. There were some even smaller islands as well. It was great to cross back and forth across the US and Canadian border with no passports involved. We even got to see a State Border control boat from America.
Is this,Island for sale? I want it!

How quaint...I guess it doesn't have flooding issues otherwise why would you build there. Good shot

So glad you had a cruise in the Thousand Islands. This one is like a little world in itself! Hope you enjoyed today's lovely weather in Toronto and had a great view from the CN Tower. See you tomorrow afternoon!
