30th November 2013

A chilly morning spent wandering around the Whitechapel and Brick Lane district of the East End today. This is a truly fascinating area which I don't know that well.

I took quite a few photographs but it was difficult to choose one for today but this one at Spitalfields market made me smile for some reason!

I have posted a couple of albums on FaceBook - one of the amazing street art (felt it was not really my work to post for my 365) and the other of interesting places and features that caught my eye.

@barrowlane I thought she was dressing the model but couldn't see any clothes! I really liked the pics of the street art I put on FB but I feel it is not my work so it feels a bit cheeky posting it as such - ages ago I read that there is a specific word for photos of other peoples work but I have no idea what it was!!

The mannequin's outfit reminds me of the 60s and made me think of Twiggy. By the way, Emma, thanks so much for finding that reference to the Ontario meetup for me--I didn't mean to you to go to a lot of trouble about it. It sounds like fun, but there's no way I can do it before Christmas, I'm afraid.
