20140907 - Spring in the Wellington Botanic Garden

Melissa with Mynx, Silver and George
Beautiful spring capture! What type of dogs are they?

@gilbertwood thanks; New Zealand's native plants are very evergreen, so the Botanic Gardens are a good place for seasonal photos. These are retired racing greyhounds - they make the most wonderful pets :-) Silver at the front and Mynx on the left are litter sisters and George at the back is my gentle giant. Black is the most common colour for greyhounds in New Zealand but they come in around 16 colours all-up. Mynx always has at least one ear on full alert when we're out walking, but George seldom moves his east from the 'relaxed greyhound' position tucked back against his head.
