An advantage of growing your own potatoes is that you also get to enjoy the candy-like little ones that would not qualify for the commercial circuit.
This variety is called "Amandine" and was originally created in our region. They are mid-size and firm, perfect for salads but not suited for mash, fries or baked potatoes.
