Pont-l'Eveque : the Old Prison

This prison was built in the beginning of the 19th century as a "modern" prison at the time : carefully designed architecture, no chains for the prisoners, permission for visits. However, the cells were still large collective cells, separated by gender only. The prison is disused today, but has been restored as a testimony of the past.

One of my B&W posts of yesterday was a shot of a backdoor of that prison.
I like the light and the reflection/contrast on the modern cars.
