On Martin Luther King Day, I sought out a couple of buildings linked to Baton Rouge's segregated past. I'd never paid much attention to the sign of the Lincoln Theatre, but next to a figure of Abraham Lincoln it lists "Theatre. Pharmacy. Barber Shop. Wash-It."
Lovely shot in b&w. This place must have many stories to tell.

I like it in B&W. It gives us the vintage feel of what it was once

The black and white captures the history of it really well. I don't think I would have expected any one of those other businesses to be attached to a theater. It must have a very interesting story behind it. Good shot!

Fascinating with its suggestion of the history behind the building.
