Obadiah, where y'at?

If Brinton Turkle's classic Nantucket children's story, "Thy Friend, Obadiah," had taken place in New Orleans.
What amazing detail and timing to catch him with his mouth wide open!

He seems to be squawking up a storm there! Great close-up!

Great shot! Love that he's squawking! I made the mistake of throwing food to one at the River Walk once as a kid only to suddenly have a flock of them fly over to me...oops.

@ithinkithunk Haha! That almost happened to me yesterday--guess they thought the camera was edible. The last time I took my granddaughter to the French Quarter, a street woman on the River Walk was feeding the seagulls claiming she could make them do tricks. When we didn't stop and give her money, she followed after us, screaming profanities. It spooked Maria so she didn't even want to go up there yesterday!
