When you live in a flat, swampy place like south Louisiana, mountains and the desert are endlessly fascinating.

When Brandon's football team played at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2011, my husband and I spent several days in the area. As I organize and re-edit the thousands of photos I took of the games and our mini-vacations, the three of us are reliving the memories.

Beautiful shot. I remember my first time seeing these cacti- going to and from the airport in Phoenix AZ. I was completely fascinated with them too but not much of a photographer back then. I wish I could go see them now!
