I've been going through old photos. In 2009, our family gathered in Maine to celebrate my mother's 100th birthday. She was in good health physically and mentally for another few months, then declined rather rapidly, dying on Christmas Day, 2009.
@prn I had to look up Saco. My mother lived with my brother and sister-in-law in Sullivan, Maine. I usually flew into Bangor, but on that trip we flew into Portland and drove up the coast. It is beautiful!
