Shot on film over 20 years ago. L'Hermitage was built in 1812 in Burnside, Louisiana by a planter as a wedding present for his son. Nice gift! It was named after Andrew Jackson's home The Hermitage in Tennessee. It's a private home, but the grounds were open the day I took this photo.
