For the first time in ages, the waves were low enough that I was able to get under the pier to take a photograph.
I like the color of the sunset reflected on the pylons. I was hoping to have more color in the sky, but it didn't extend that far out into the sea until it was much too dark to get any photos under the pier.
It was so peaceful while I was taking photos there. I felt as though I were tucked back in a cave, invisible to anyone.
@365projectorgjenfurj Thank you so much! The beach is always a peaceful place for me but was especially so yesterday.
@maggiemae Thank you, you bring up a good point. I looked at both and will post the results in my other album. I really can't decide which I prefer. They each have aspects which I like. If I could combine them into one photo, I would have it made! This one highlights the beautiful color on the pylons better.
@helenhall Thank you so much! I have gone back and forth between them so much, that I think the edit is growing on me. Now, I wish that I had just opened up the shadows on this one to begin with. But I do love the deep color and the sense of depth the dark creates.
@milaniet Thank you very much for your lovely comment!
