Drip Dry

This morning, I fell asleep with my book and a cup of coffee in my lap. Imagine my surprise when the coffee landed not on my lap or the book, but all over my keyboard!
Did you know that you can take a keyboard apart and the key section can be run under water to clean all whatever you spilled in it out of it? At least this one was that way. I think that is a good design. There was no liquid at all in the working innards. After it drip dried for a while in the sun, I put it all back together and it was good as new.

My key board is my laptop but I keep my liquids in my lap or on another table because I have had a few spills.

Well done for retrieving the keyboard from its mishap. You may have read that I had a similar mishap last week. Sadly though, despite pulling all the keys off and cleaning with cotton buds to remove the moisture, the keyboard refused to perform. Your solution is well illustrated here.
