Winston is 11.5 years old. He has had both knees rebuilt and has severe arthritis in both elbows. For a dog, that is bad news. He has turned into a curmudgeonly old dog. But...when you look into that face, you can forgive his crankiness because you know he is hurting and he is so darn cute! As you can see, he has been snurfling around the parrot's cages this morning looking for any bits and bobs they might have thrown out.
We should all learn from Mr. Winston, to snurfle is a wonderful thing. I never knew that such a word existed- ( http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=snurfle) Sums up the love that a pup shares perfectly. May he continue to catch the extras for a long time.
