Last year, Bettina One had a one-meter web between the basil and one of the columns of the archway on the front veranda. I took many photos of her. This year, Bettina Two created her ever-enlarging web between the morning glory and the basil on the kitchen veranda. I have watched her grow from approximately one centimeter (3/8") across to her current size of 2.5 centimeters (1"). I think she is beautiful.
I don't dislike spiders in fact I admire them but, Bettina Two seems to understands that her place is outdoors. The detail and delicacy of this is fabulous.

@mona65 Thank you so much for the lovely check-in. I am doing so much better, but still have problems with the weight of my camera. My doctor says it could take a year for full recovery so I am following all the rules so I don't make it longer. I will start bit by bit.
