This is just one of the many alpine ponds/lakes we hiked to on our trek up Spruce Creek Trail. It was a day that challenged me and pushed me to my limits for sure! Crossing the snowfield with the sheer drop on one side was definitely an experience I will not soon forget!
Note to self: don't ever forget to check backup battery for a full charge! I got up to this point and my battery went dead.... I thought, no problem, I'll just pop in my backup battery. I did and to my dismay, it was dead! Fortunately, I still had a charge in my iPhone!
@pocketmouse@carwyn3 Thank you!! @sparkle Thank you so much Juliette! I sure appreciate your comments and fav!! @kaleidoscopeyes Thank you Brittany! I almost didn't use the phone, I was so mad at myself for not checking the charge in my backup! But, then I knew I had to try at least getting something after climbing so far! @jdr4690 Thank you so much Rob! @roseolivia Thank you!! @julieco Thank you so much Julie and for the follow too! I almost didn't take any shots with the phone, because I was so mad at myself for not checking my backup! But, then I knew I had to at least try after hiking up so far and seeing the views, I just couldn't hike back down without something!! @mtpagano Thank you Michelle! @morrisphotos Thank you so much Terri! Definitely a lesson learned! @dh Thank you so much! I will never again underestimate my phone in a sticky situation! I did process using Nik software to bring out the contrasts, color, and textures. @sbolden Thank you so much Scott!!
