I have been to this spot several times and decided to go back to capture a glimpse of the sunset and moon in the shot. I was hiking up to this spot as the sun was setting. I stayed until it became dark. Just as I was taking my final shots, I could see and hear the bats flying overhead! They love this area...I was just hoping they wouldn't love me, lol!

@eyesmile Thank you Gena!! Yes, I am lucky to live close by! I did forget my head lamp that night and really wished I had while navigating my way down. We had major flooding come through during the summer and the terrain is a little tricky now and especially at night!
How that tree can hold on to the rock and get enough moisture to survive, boggles the mind!
