Capturing the Heart of Fall

A new release of a vertical panoramic I took this past fall of "The Castles" on Ohio Pass near Crested Butte, Colorado. I am always amazed every year by this location with its vast colors of aspens that lead up to the castle formations. The clouds just happened to cooperate as I shot at sunrise. Some people ask if I ever get bored returning to the same location to shoot and my answer is always no. The conditions are always continually changing and unique. The photographer in me is up for the challenge to find different light, a different perspective and a ultimately the epic conditions!
