"When The Land Gets Into The Music" ~John O'Donohue

I just absolutely happened upon this quote from one of my favorite inspirational authors and felt the title fit this scene perfectly. These aspens are known as the "dancing aspens" for their peculiar growth. I just love this stand and this past fall I had a chance to photograph them with amazing fog rolling in and out of the scene. It was a challenge waiting for the right moment as wisps of fog and breeze layered the area surrounding me in a mist of white beauty. Sometimes the moments just happen for us and this year many scenes came together for me. I feel extremely blessed to experience such beauty and to be able to share my interpretation with you! Thank you always for your amazing support!
I envy your opportunity to be there and take this great image. It is waaaay cool! Nice job.

Wonderful image. I just love John O'Donahue. For anyone who is curious about his writings or who wants to hear the sound of his voice, here is an interview, relatively shortly before his death. https://onbeing.org/programs/john-odonohue-the-inner-landscape-of-beauty/

Beautiful capture. I don't know exactly where these are but I've seen some of these "dancing aspens" around here and find them fascinating. I've never seen them before moving here.
