To me...nature is the source of peace, strength, and hope. To be engulfed in the surrounding wonders of light as the sun set on one of my favorite places in Colorado...I had time to contemplate the question, "why am I here." More a reflection of the immediate of why am I witnessing this scene unfold before me right now. Mind you, it was in the low 30's, the wind blowing and the light fading as I shot this pano. However, the magic was so surreal and the colors too captivating, I couldn't seem to concentrate on much more than documenting the moment to share with others. Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park had just opened the week before and here I was blessed with a sunset to calm my heart and rejuvenate my soul! Thank you always for your support!
