Waking up to the Washington fresh air and witnessing this scene with the fog coming off the lake, just revived my soul. The grace of the sunlight dancing on Mt. Rainier, the fog rising from the lake, and the vibrant flowers gracing my foreground, beaconed to be photographed. Sometimes I leave a scene like this and question..was it really what I witnessed? Then later as I'm processing images, I realize the very grandness of such beautiful nature and am grateful to have captured the moment!
Stunning capture of Mt Rainer! I flew by it on my way to Seattle last week so I got a different pov. Sadly the skies don’t have this clarity today because the fires in WA and CA have blown in a thick shroud of smoke.
Beautiful landscape! Just finished watching Ken Burns's National Parks documentary. Thank goodness for all the people who worked to set aside these lands!
