Ferns and Graffiti

The walls of the large glacial stones at the entrance of the Hammonasset River have been colorfully spray painted with graffiti. While I am upset at the defacing of this natural area, the paint provided a pretty backdrop for these ferns.

I'm glad you could find a positive - the graffiti part really is something I don't understand - what pleasure do the derive from defacting property?
