Back in the woods this morning for a 3 mile hike on the Stony Creek Quarry trails. The trails did not match the map I had printed out, so we ended up in another preserve and saw this nicely framed pond.
I recently paid the $30 to upgrade on the All Trails app. You can download a map to your phone of most public trails, and then use it off line. It will show you where you are on the trail and alert you if you go off the route. Since I hike alone a lot, it's been helpful to me so far, as it is easy to get lost on some of these poorly marked trails.
