It's maple syrup season here in Glengarry and the sap was running hard today now that we had temperatures on the positive side of the freezing mark.
My get-pushed partner, Charles @zosimasy challenged me to take a a golden hour photo or sunset but we have had nothing but dreary skies for the past week.
So, knowing that sap is considered liquid gold ... so I thought I would improvise on the golden solution.
Not quite what Charles had in mind - but it was a golden opportunity to watch the sap flow.
