Shadow the Dog and Selective Focus by farmreporter

Shadow the Dog and Selective Focus

I have been playing a lot with my camera lately, trying to improve on my technique while learning how to master the controls of my camera.
Boy, it is a work in progress!
This is an attempt at the selective focus technique where the aperture is purposely left wide open in order to have a blurry foreground, which should act as a natural frame.
Easy to do with a stationary object - but Shadow is anything but stationary!

I think it worked!
