Fly Away Flutterby

April @aecasey challenged me to do an in-camera double exposure. She even gave me a link to a super tutorial on how to do it. And, I did learn the mechanics on how to do it. Now to just figure out technique so that it looks good as well!
I must admit that I am embarrassed to submit these photos for the whole 365 community to see, but then, I am sure that we all take baby steps and fall before we learn to run. This is a fall!
On the plus side, now that I know the mechanics and I can see what I want to achieve in my mind’s eye, (and I attempted multiple times today)I will continue to try this and may even post a shot that is not totally embarrassing!
This was taken on the first night that I figured out the mechanics of how to make double exposures work.

Thank you for this great challenge, April @aecasey - I actually did learn a lot about my camera on top of how to do a double exposure. Features that I have not used - like high key, low key, etc.
Unfortunately, I did not have a whole lot of time to work on this challenge this past week, but do intend to put that new found info to work in the future.

Your placement of the two images is very nice, and your choice of background really brings the separate images out.
