I spent the day with friends at Upper Canada Village - a 1860s recreation of homes, stores, churches, and farms on the St. Lawrence River.
This village is authentic and complete with actors dressed in clothing common to that era. A fascinating spot to go.
This wash tub and plant was in the window of the summer kitchen, ready and waiting for the lady of the house to have a spare moment to use it.
Probably a lot like that!
