This is my second attempt to replicate James Abbott Whistler’s self-portrait titled “Brown and Gold”. It is an oil on canvas painted between 1895 – 1900.
Well, I did it. I played with layers for the very first time and this is what I got! Not exactly the result I wanted but perfection will come later!
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but having a deadline for a challenge is the father of learning.
I enjoy 365 for the challenges that push us further than we would normally go - that allow us to achieve goals with baby steps.
