It's Melting in Color

We just had two days of rain - over 40 mm - that decimated the snow we had. Needless to say, there is a lot of water in the fields.
I did post this shot as a Flash of Red shot which means that it is B&W but I love the clear blues and pale whites in the colour version.
I do not usually post the same photo twice but could not resist posting this one.

I really appreciate the differences in opinions between the 365 members - and realize how many differences there are the longer I belong. There is so much truth in the adage 'Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder"!
I much prefer the colour version - but then - I usually prefer colour to B&W.

Wow. I love the colour version and the B&W version. We have had so much rain that it seems like it will never dry out and when it's not raining the fog rolls in :)

I think I prefer the colour version it looks more wintery than the black and white. I agree with David though that pop of red is distracting but it is what it is.
