These guys definitely do not have a fear of heights. They scramble across the steep and slippery slopes with the sure-footedness of a mountain goat.
It is a hot job - there is no shade up there!
This is their last day on the job, finishing off the barn roof.
Now we need to get the windows in, put the batten on, and get rid of the interior temporary supporting beams now that this crew is done the structural work.

They are wearing their safety harnesses, and they do wear hard hats when working on the ground or below the roof. Their baseball caps protect them sufficiently from any falling bird poop while on the roof, lol!
Nice candid. I'm glad I had training to do a job that was indoors, heated in the winter and cool in the summer and didn't require me to be in such a unsafe position.
