Little House on the Prairie

For Week 40 - Vision: Classic Novel where we are to create an image that identifies a classic story or novel.
Well, I have always imagined the house that Laura Ingalls Wilder, the writer of the classic "Little House" series, lived in would look much like this.
I have been the replacement driver on a route that takes me by this place, so I stopped after dropping off all students yesterday.
It looks a little bit unloved. But it could easily be the Ingles homestead.

OK. For your challenge this week, try to channel your younger self and take a picture that 10 year old you might have taken. I don’t mean for you to have to forget all the photographic skills you’ve gained, but think of what you would have photographed and how you might have chosen to present it or what you might have said about it through your picture. How does that sound? If not good right now let me know and I’ll give you another instead. Sorry again for the tardiness.

Nicely composed shot, Wendy. I like the contrast between flimsy looking house and solid tree.

Great shot. Great POV and clarity. I feel almost drawn into the shot and can hear the crunching of the leaves on the ground and feel the texture of the tree.trunk as well as the old woren wood on the side of the house. Well done
